The people were mostly Mr. Hart & his family, boys & girls from 16 to 22 & some of their friends who all live on a shoulder point near Bell's Camp called Poverty Flats because the people who live there are all quite well off - Mr. Hart owns mines there & lives there most of the year. His house is Council Bluffs Iowa & his children only spend summer vacations here - After service he invited us to spend Tuesday afternoon at his house - His people seem to be a jolly crowd.

Sunday the Phrenologist said he examined 30 heads at $2.00 apiece - But we think he lied.
