as to the whereabouts for Almeda to locate herself, I am inclin'd to think with you that it may be her duty to stay here she is in a position to do good is lov'd & respected by all her acquaintance - & is among the first in society which society is as a whole far above the society on the reserve (except right in Elyria or similar villages where she would not be able to locate herself) above I say in a social - Moral - intellectual or religion point of view - now is it not so. I only guess besure __ But that is my impression on from the little I do know of the town about Elyria James has look at several places but is not suited with any are having a little talk about the George Wilkins place on top of the Hill near half a Mile south of the Dea Browns price 1600,

When I got that likeness to send to Percie, I had one taken to send to you & Anna. But as Sam'l did't say or do anything about getting one, I didn't mean that he should know that I had. I put Percies in his Testament & seal'd it up strong & told Samuel not to open it till he got to St. Paul & then give it to Percie & he ought to have minded me. I have here two like that I sent to Percie - for any body that wants them.
Charles say he should be very glad to go to Elyria but thinks he cannot afford to I intended to write sooner - will try to do better about it in future from your ever loving Mother Much love & good wishes to all the dear ones
