I do believe things are beginning to focus. Tonight the world seems more endurable & I have a sense of direction (East!) There's no especial reason for I awake this A.M. in the howling wilderness after dreaming that Aunt Laura was dying and & winged insects were coming out of her neck. (What would a psychiatrist make of that!) But things seem possible tonight. (I had a tantalizing dream of you once that a psych. would make much of.) | I do believe things are beginning to focus. Mrs. Huff Agency phoned today & said the Calif. job was filled but that the supt. was keeping my papers because he was interested and might have another 5th grade opening in Dec. for me. I feel that I'll have a job in either Calif. or N.Y. state in a month or two- surely by the new term in Feb. I only hope New York comes up first. | |||

Davy found an advertisement for a correspondence course in Speedwriting in his Pop. Mech. Mag. which I intend to investigate.
