I wrote the first page of this sheet expecting that Charles would fill out the rest of it but he is so hurried with his Cattle & sheep {he has got about 80 sheep} that he says I must write for him - moreover he didn't tell me what to say only that he is coming just as soon as he can get ready as fast as wind &  water will carry him. He thought he would try to Start from Bangor Thursday 24th but thinks that he cannot get Started before the 28th possibly not so soon. Is going to see Gilman tomorrow & thinks some of trying to get young David Livermore who is a smart ingenious fellow to go to if he can get Gilman for Master workman I think they would do well. I must send this now or lose this mail. When he has seen Gilman etc. etc. I'll write again perhaps Friday

16th I wrote the first page of this sheet expecting that Charles would fill out the rest of it but he is so hurried with his Cattle & sheep {he has got about 80 sheep} that he says I must write for him - moreover he didn't tell me what to say only that he is coming just as soon as he can get ready as fast as wind & water will carry him.
