Our early spring has been seriously threatened last few evenings. Had snow Saturday night with temperature of 25 degrees. Warming up today however and snow was all gone by noon Sunday. Max has painted all screens and put some back enamel on the kitchen stove which is great improvement. Got a letter from Laura saying that she might drive out with Norine in Laura's Ford Tuesday afternoon if weather is pleasant, so am looking forward to seeing them.

for the crib out of one of my old bed-spreads. Made a sofa pillow cover of some of my left-over curtain cretonne yesterday - to have in the bedroom. Our early spring has been seriously threatened last few evenings. Had snow Saturday night with temperature of 25 degrees. Warming up today however and snow was all gone by noon Sunday. Max has painted all screens and put some black enamel on the kitchen stove which is great improvement. Got a letter from Laura saying that she might drive out with Norine in Laura's Ford Tuesday afternoon if weather is pleasant, so am looking forward to seeing them.

Have not heard from Helen for several weeks. Presume she is very busy moving.

Malcolm & Buddie have just come in each armed with a bunch of dandelions. Spring flowers are out but have not been down to pick any as it is too far for me to walk.

Hope you both are well and that the heat will not make you miserable. Seems hard to realize that it is so hot at noon there, but I know the worst is yet to come.

Much Love, Katharine.
