I am more and more obsessed w/ the thought that virtually nothing is being done to educate the US public as to the truth about socialism, to counteract the NAM & C of C. propaganda for "free" enterprise. And I'm losing interest steadily in providing entertainment & intrstg reading for those who are already of our way of thinking. We need, of course, such means of intercommunication as Natl Gdn & Ms. Rev? but at present we are leaving the big field wide open to the enemy. While we spend our efforts on lecturing & writing for our own people! How do you feel about this? Right now I have hereabouts 15 or 20 folk ripe to read & think about 1. the evils of "free enterprise" & 2. the advantages of capitalism, but nothing to give them. Your PCM dollar - please tell me OK to use it for a 6-mo. trial sub. for you to R. Palme Dutt's "Labour Monthly" from London. S.N. thinks highly of it & so do I - You wd get a great deal from it.
