¶ Gathering up these thoughts which have but briefly scanned the career of Christ we can but be impressed with a sense of the deep humility unto which Christ plunged when he left his throne to enter our world. And when Christ says learn of me - he proposes to teach us from his own experience. Christ gives us little of abstract theory. He goes before us in experience and then says "follow me: But the road which Jesus trod led him through the valley of humiliation. Shall we tread there we must if we would follow him. | |||
