Up at 5 am at 6 took ambulances & had a very delightful ride of 28 miles to Espanola arriving at 11 am. Found train waiting for us - Presidents car & Kitchen car. Pulled out as soon as we got our baggage on board. Rio Grande valley well cultivated Fine canon & good engineering. Arrived Antonito 3 pm Took main line west - Toltec canon - fine scenery - To bed 10 pm after a day of very varied pleasures - good food | |||
