I don't even know if there is substantial I.W.W. history in Detroit. To my knowledge the only wobbly participation to any significance was the Briggs strike here. The only F.W one that I kew [sic] of that was active in that strike was F. W. Frank Cicarelli who has been dead many years. The only people here who could (possibly) help Krik in any way, you already know of, i.e. Verlain and Lucas both branch secretaries and delegates at one time. Then, there are the Wayne State archives, which I should think would cover all known wobbly history, here. I was able to contact Harry Riseman and had an interesting talk. I was unaware that he was the lawyer who was instrumental in stopping your deportation, altho we din't [?brook?] on that subject. He, of course immediately recognized your name, in response to my question, does the name of Fred Thompson jar in your memory?
