In the same mail s the bookends was a box from Frank with the usual assortment of dirty sox a necktie, some hdkfs, that same old gingham apron and a dollar in the toe of one sock and a note saying "keep extras". So I suppose the apron and the hdkfs are extras. ----- Have the sox, etc. on the line, and now going over to the market to see what I can see. Have invited Mrs. Johnson & Mrs. Catlin for supper tomorrow night as Mrs. C. goes back to N.J. Thursday for the summer. Mrs J. has taken in a young wijfe with a 14 mos. old girl, after going around town trying to get someone else to take her. Mrs. C thought is necessary for her to stay after that. Have ordered a copy of Strange Fruit to be sent to you. It's a gripping book, and
