Castro was but a fine adventurer  -  and that he had been one of the Managers of a Bank  in New York- which was burned Down suspiciously & the Iron chest in which the money ought to have been found deposited - was found open & no accts rendered - & that from that period M.C. had been in France further in Paris - this coupled with other circumstances led him to advise his Govr to refuse him his [?Exequatur?].  This appt. from this Govt will be annulled Whenever - M. S. informs him that a [?] was sent sometime since from a Gentleman here to W. K. to meet G. H.  & now that [?] H has gone home the difficulty I suppose will be settled -
  Pierson will not come out again - but may make over his brant to another party in Belgium.  Another [4 unclear words] a man shot - Count &c [?] not fortunate his people sick - this may dispatch him. - he may slope homewards.
