I could tell him in previous communications, on this subject, was that in all my copies his song was there. However, I havent got all of the editions neither. I sort of liked the little history sketch that D.B. wrote on the little red song book and which Philip Taft saw fit to pick up for Labor History. I don't know if D.B. shares my criticism of the content of the song book. He has not said yet, except to agree with me, that the old English socialist songs are hard to improve on. Songs by F. A. Symonds for example. "These things shall be! A loftier race/Than e'er the world hath known shall rise/With flame of freedom in their souls/And light of knowledge in their eyes."
