Mary's girl left Mon. morning but she expects another this week, I believe. Mrs. Duffy is here taking washing &c. I am having my clothes washed so I shall be all right in that respect. I have had my stockings washed. Cousin Lizzie went to Uncle's Monday afternoon. I have not seen her since but Alice and Fannie have. How will it do for her to visit us next week if the weather is favorable? She will want to come back before Christmas as she is invited to Rome on that day. I think she would like to make us a short visit now and prehaps a longer one again if we can arrange it so. It seems to me that we can make it pleasant
