Dear Sisters

  The proof came from Sartain Saturday evening; We like it pretty well, but cannot quite tell whether it is so good in every respect as it might be. We would be very glad to know your opinion. Lewis thinks it lacks sharpness - and some of the (Laura & Caroline) think it lacks life - the eyes Caroline says look like false eyes.
