Remsen. Dec. 2, 1882  My dear J[[unclear]]  We received your card a few days ago, and your letter of Nov. 26th last night.  I think it is high time you had an answer to some of your questions.  Edward has not yet returned, but is on his way homeward.  we had a letter from him last night from Hillsdale dated Nov. [[28?]].  He reached there at 3 P.M. that day and expected to start from there at the same time the next day.  Says that Brother [[R?]] & Hattie are both well.  Had been at [[Chicago?]] staid there one night with [[unclear]] who used to live with us.  was going from there to Newburg, Ohio, where he expected to spend the Sabbath, and from there home, or at Remsen by Monday or Tuesday eve.  A week ago
