We were sorry to hear of Mrs. Evans' death. Wish we might have been home at the funeral. How is Mrs. Thomas? We have not been on the hill - Katie Roberts is at home now, she is very poorly all the time they say. When Mr. Lewis went he took his horse and drove over to Boonville with his wife - so we shall probably not be able to go see Katie - It is very pleasant today and the day of the Collinsville meeting - I think Wm. promised to take his mother if she stays.
