Dear sister,
Dear sister,
I have just learned that father is going to the village and as he is most ready I can write but a few hasty lines. We very much hope that he will bring a letter from you as we are anxious to hear you looked so poorly on the way down to the village that I have regretted very much that I did not stay at the [[depot?]] to help you into the [[cars?]]. We hope you had no great trouble with that heavy basket and satchel. [[16?]] We have had no opportunity to send this - it rained so that father did not go down. Robbie went once and carried the letter in his pocket, but forgot to leave it - he brought home your letter also one from Mary. She says you had better take another dose of [[unclear]]. I send one which I prepared with [[unclear]] of milk and a few [[unclear]] [[unclear]]. Sarah [[came?]] down to her breakfast this morning - Anna also is better - the rain carried off all our snow but more fell last night so that Robbie can go to the village this morning in the sleigh - all well. Much love.
