Remsen Sept 25, 1869? My dear Sister, Yours came all right and very welcome indeed it was. About the butter- we have just finished the eighth tub.-they are called 60 weight but I heard some one say lately that they will hardly average that more like 55. Mrs. Dr. Burdrick wishes 50 weight- I believe but we neglected to order such- Would she like to try one of these and which one? and how much a pound would she be willing to give- it all looks nice we think- I think she said that perhaps she could find a market for all we have
