I am feeling very badly to-day from a severe cold, in fact I ought not to be out so please excuse all mistakes, bad-writing &c. There is no news in the neighborhood, we are catching some fine cat-fish & chubs in the river - & as the legislature passed a law to remove the dams from across the river, we hope to have some fine sport. I have an itemized account of gr-mothers funeral & medical expenses & other little matters owing by her, & also an account of how I spent the $50 sent me by you, a copy of which I will send you if you wish it, after paying the expenses I turned the balance over to Mother & Aunt Mary. Hoping to see you sometimes during the year, I am as ever
