Twas quite a job, & not feeling very well since I've been here. I put it off to the last mount I have had a real pleasant visit tho it was involuntary Col Hallie, his family & all have been just as kind as they could be | |||

Fort Supply Monday Sep 20 Paymaster arrived about noon - gave all my orders & got every thing ready to leave tomorrow at night made the rounds unclear & bade good by to all the ladies.
Twas quite a job, & not feeling very well since I've been here. I put it off to the last mount I have had a real pleasant visit tho it was involuntary Col Hallie, his family & all have been just as kind as they could be Went to bed late All ready to face early
