This day we took our departure early in the morning, the Indians told me we should arrive to the Indian village before noon, this morning we passed by several small spots [[cut word]] cleared land, where the Indians had improved and planted corn and beans &c, we arrived at the Indian village about noon, as ssoon as  squaws saw us coming in sight of their Village, and heard the cohoops, which signified [[cut word]] number of prisoners, all the squaws in their village, prepared themselves with large [[cut word]] of brian, and nettles &c, and met us [[cut word]] their landing, singing and dancing and yelling, and making such a hellish [[cut word]] noise, that I expected we should meet with a morse reception at this place that had at the other, I was verey carefull to
