CE and 10 min. prayer mtg before etc. With Roy to 2nd Church in eve. Miss Stein sang. Mon. 14 [in margin] Telephone put in our house. Chas & I to woods all day. Unlucky afternoon. Lodged a maple tree in an oak. I went up & chopped off the limbs. Chas. got a black eye chip flew up & hit him. I barked my hand. Eve. we vote no breakfast for 1 month Tues. 15. Rain some middle of day, Woods in a.m. p.m. home. I called on SS. people. Brown Dumas Richards & Tedrow. Richards just starts for Denver Col. tonight his father is there. Republican primary election. polls open 4 to 8. Eve. Exec. Com. of Co. S.S. Assoc. 4 Mourning Doves. Juncos. Redwings Wed. 16 Fair. beautiful a.m. Chas & I cleaned out cobs from corn house shelled 5 bags corn. took it to mill. p.m. sang at funeral of Grace daughter of August Jacobs. Went to mill
