[in margain]Horne of Larks a.m. to woods. in storm snow. brot home feed cutter Eve. to see Dr. got bottle of Malt for constipation. C.E. Social. Thurs. 3rd, Woods all day. very cold night. Fri 4 Woods all day, cut down the great hollow beech. In a.m. saw a muskrat swimming under the ice in the ditch. Sat 5 Ethels birthday. Woods all day Chas. Ely & I. In a.m. Geo. R. also trying his new saw. Eve. to 2nd Cong. Ch. Choir mtg. Sun. 6 S.S. & Lake Ave. Roy told me about his father & home affairs & asked my advice as to his own duty to stay at home or go and do the best he could for himself C.E. mtg on Sabbath question Louis Hecock lead.
