River East Branch I found yesterday divided into three streams: one followed the Old Channel; one leaving the Old Channel burst across the highway and flowed straight down through the Swamp Land back of the Village coming out to the River again half a mile below; the third followed straight down the highway through the Main Street of the Village between the two rows of houses. Your genealogical paper, duly received and thankfully appreciated Can there then be found no way of bringing to bear some nearer relationship with Old Horse Head? Certainly his looks approve him. He said though that he little resembled his immediate relatives. My visiting home this Fall is extremely uncertain. I am afraid it grows more & more so as the time wears away. I want much much to, and much to see you.
