Since that period Bishop has kept the Mission buildings in possession. The chapel has been used for several years as a Court house - & the dwelling house for a Tavern. This my dear brother is a brief history of the events the circumstances of which Mr. P. desires to know. The affair at Danns-wh place last [[words blacked out]]March - was one of [[strike out: one of]] [[unclear]] greater injustice, as the co [[words blacked out]] lending parties had recourse weapons of death & were for a time, engaged in mortal combat. I have seen two different accounts of that affair - published in several of the Georgia papers & presume it is prety generally know, | |||
