Opr. reports that at 8 o clock he left the Agency and went to the Halsted St yards of the Milwaukee and St Paul saw saw Engineer [[brighton]] and [[Dehader]] and their Firemen and Switchmen [[unclear]] Johnson Judd Moffett and Lockhart Opr stayed around with me and another most the fornoon. Op object was to learn if possible what the feeling was in regard to this contemplated Boycott at St Joe today. Opr says these men for 1 lot at least are satisfied to let the [[q.]] men fight their own Battles. They as Individuals do not want to mix up in the affair but say if the worst comes and they are ordered out they will be obliged to go and do as the others do. [[Walker]] says the most of the men feel much the same.
