Jarett [[unclear]]-gerald x one or two others but they all said there was nothing new from the meeting & that everything was just the same. It's not likely any thing will be done here at any rate not until after they result of the St. Louis meeting in Know [[Opr.]] stopped there until 8:30 P.M. when most every one had gone & as he could learn nothing he also went home. Everything is just the same every day, nothing is done at the meetings except read the communications from along the line which are the same every day all asking the men to stick it out, but the men are getting sick of it they say and most of them wish something would turn up.
