We have been repeatedly told that the Church of Carnarvon have sent an invitation to you after there Assembly which was the beginning of last month, to come over, but whether or not you need not for a moment fear but that there will be a Church ready to receive you whenever you come it is still at times reported that you are on the way coming We had a Union Meeting last Friday at the Green | We have been repeatedly told that the Church of Carnarvon have sent an invitation to you after there Assembly which was the beginning of last month, to come over, but whether or not you need not for a moment fear but that there will be a Church ready to receive you whenever you come it is still at times reported that you are on the way coming We had a Union Meeting last Friday at the Green the opening of the small Chapel or as it is called (Ysgoldy) and there were present several good preachers viz Mr Williams Wern. Mr Jones Mr [[page torn]] Mr Owens [[Rhescal-Narius?]] Mold - Ridge, Bala - Davis Llanfair Ishmael Jones and several others who preached excellent sermons and it was quite a delightful meeting John's house at Meusydd Brwyn was open for their accomodation almost all the Preachers dined there and many other it is about a quarter of a mile from there house - There were meetings held at Waen - and Moelfre preceding it - this week there is an Assembly in Anglesea - Nathaniel and I have been about three weeks ago in Merionethshire at a Missionary Meeting at Bala and an Assembly at Llanuwchllyn both which meetings appeared to be crowned with the presence of the Lord in a great measure there were upwards of sixty preachers at LLaunwchllyn. Mr Pierce of Wrexham and Mr Jenkins of Oswestry were the only two that addressed us in English at Bala - next month there will be a meeting at Llanbrynmair when Mr Samuel Roberts is to be ordained as copastor with his Father - and on the 21st of Sept will be our Assembly at Denbigh the opening of Ruthin Chapel will be the same week and other meetings in Flintshire - there is a young man at Ruthin of the name of Price whom they at present intend having as there Minister I wish we might cherish the hope of seeing you at some of these meetings but we shall I assure you, of seeing you in future meetings. In reference to Elizabeth's health also my Mother thinks it is very unwise of you staying there - We hope Henry and David enjoy good health as we have not been informed to the contrary but as for my Sister I find she is not |
