he only wrote me a few words just after reaching the place, & I have heard nothing since. When does he expect to return? I have been thinking that Isaac would want him to stay there while he comes on with Nettie, but I have heard nothing more , so know nothing. I am sorry to hear of Mr. & Mrs. Sargent's illness; my regards to them, and to others who inquire for me. Love to Albina. I have thought much of her this winter in her new experience of dwelling alone, without a strong arm to lean on ; let her seek wisdom & strength from the right Source and all will be well. Tell Charlie that I have not forgotten him, & hope he will remember aunt Anna & that Libby is just one year and a half older than he is, & I hope she will sometime come to see him. I hope he is a very good boy now father is gone & kind to Josie & to little sister. Do be careful of your health my dear mother not expose yourself to the sever cold but have things comfortable do let washings alone & hand work, you can do more good even to her by your care over the children and sewing, planning &c. It seemed to me you had best spend the now, cold bleak spring at Bangor & so return to Milo just in time to receive us when we come so as to be 'ready' for us you know. With much love to all your affectionate daughter Anna, [up the left side] Do write to me soon & I will answer it at once. I mean to write Almeda soon. am afraid she is going to finish up the house; she needs me there to help her arrange & fix it up. The month I spent there last summer I enjoyed much & anticipate much too from visiting next summer. The docter has five sisters all I believe except one on farms & several in quite moderate circumstances I expect to visit several of them before going east. He has no brothers his mother is just ten years older than you.
