During last term I was much tired with the administration in school, of our"speared head' so lose a injudicious; I felt as if I must leave, that it would be impossible to preserve good discipline and order in my department, with opposing influences 'abide' , the bad effect of which I could plainly see; my true friend, Argyle Rumsey in speaking of it said it would not do for me to stay till the school 'runs down' that though my reputation might not suffer here it would all around but things seem better this term the male department consists of but about twenty half of them steady young music teachers, fitting for college and the female department |
