I've had some trouble to make him mind since I've got well more than I had before, but he is on the whole a very good boy - would have him go outdoor if he had any body to play with but he dont like to go out alone - Sam'l talks now that he should take him right on to Min. with him in the spring I dont love to think of it - Little Erving stands alone gets up & walks round by the side of the house - is a knowing little fellow - S. & E. are collecting debts S. said if they could all it would pay all their debts & have their slack [unclear] & 4000$ left that their nominal profits in 3 years had been 1400, - but I think El. is all the time perplex'd and [unclear] danger of bank failing &c I think I've got my paper full
