Two weeks since a word I have written - A long letter came from Anna at Elyria today - containing wondrous tidings - She to be married the first of next month! and Elyria to be her home at present - Dr De Witt, a gentleman in high standing is the bridegroom elect - and Anna thinks they shall visit Illinois and come to look at us in our home - may nothing occur to prevent.
