Dear Sister Nettie, your last letter furnished us quite a stream of conversation you truly had a narrow escape from a dreadful death; we much admire the presence of mind shown by the girl; many would have screamed helplessly round the house but she seemed to do just the best thing possible. Did it not make you sick ? and have you got well over it ? I am very glad your situation is in general so pleasant.
