Chicago Ills. August 13th 1888.  H.B. Stone Esq.  Genl Mangr. W.B. & Q.R.R.  Chicago  Dear Sir.  Following please find report of Opt. F.W. dated at Aurora Ills. August 9th 1888.  Opt. reports that he was out with Strikers most of his time viz. Raymond.  Jack [[Doorn?]] (who lost $5.00 on Base Ball) Koegle Conklin, Mean Freeman Byron Miller and he wnet to the Base Ball Ground with Uoung DeGerald Byron, Mike Quinlan.  DeGeald did not hav any money so Young paid his way for him while at the game.  Quinlan said to an acquaintance that he was not looking for work as he expected to go back to work on the 2.  when Quinlan said this DeGerald and Young laughed.  Byron said that most all the men that stood in with the head of the Brotherhood was back working some where now.  and that the rest of them woule\d be left to hustle for themselves.  Hicky is now Washing at [[unclear]] [[Stable?]] There is not much talk of any kind among the strikers excepting Base Ball etc.  There are very few of the Strikers to be seen in either of the places where it has been customary to find them  [[VanRuce?]] and Raymond are the principal men to be seen in Seiberts  Opt Remained up until 2 a.m.
