Went to the church of the | Went to the church of the Annuziata which we could see very little of (as this is all saints day) it being filled with people, from what we saw of this church I should like much to take a look at it again everything is shut up today but the churches -- thence to the Boboli gardens + up to the pavilion to get a view of the town. it was not a very extensive view but rather pretty. had dinner + went to Mr. ---- studio to see the different statues which I liked very much. He is an American + I am glad to say his work is considered among the chefs d'oeuvre of Italy. I think he is a native of Cincinnati. There we saw busts of most of the great men of America --- | ||
