Monday the 31st Aunt Julia + I called for Mrs. Buchanan who very kindly offered to assist us in our purchases we succeed in doing what we expected. Then after taking Mrs. B-- home Mrs. Bathurst +[[unclear]] to the Hotel for the rest of the party + we all went to the galeria imperiale which we had only time to walk through thence to dinner after which we had a nice but short walk + a nice long drive.
