Thursday, April 12. Clear & quite cool  Sherman went to [[Yorktown?]] or vicinity on business connected with McClure estate. I have been pretty busy in the office. Settled up the matter of the claim of [[Elusp..?]] Law & put our fees.  The [[Freeman?]] deed delivered to McCall & the money owed $25-50. The old Pres Church is being moved & to night is just before Mrs Axtells door
