It is nearly dark but I thought I would commence a letter to you even if I am not able to finish it until tomorrow. We have a girl now, as I believe I told you, so I have more time to write than I did, though somehow I do not get at it very often. I had that P.O. order cashed today. I hope we shall be able to return your kindness sometime We do not spend much excepting for car [[unclear]] & c but that takes a good deal as you know. We cannot go much without taking the cars, and it does us good, especially the sick ones, to go out as often as we can. We hope we shall have enough now until
