Father left us a week ago tomorrow. We heard from from him from Buffalo and expect a letter tonight. I fear you will be much disappointed because Matthew is not with him; as we were in not having her go. But I hope it was all for the best. Excuse the hasty manner in in which this is written as I have but a few minutes to write. I have got all over my toothache and are feeling firstrate. We received (that is Lewis and Jane) a letter from Anna a week ago. They had written and I hope she has got theirs before this. Write soon. Sarah. | |||

Father left us a week ago tomorrow. We heard from from him from Buffalo and expect a letter tonight.
