We have spent about half the amount Cynthia requested for a library here - the rest perhaps we will get next summer. We get the books from Cincinnati from Mr. Chidlan they reached here last Friday. The young ladies are coming here tomorrow to cover and prepare them to be used. They are pretty books and we think a good selection.
Maria Pujh is here this week making over my silk dress. I am not getting anything new or thinner than that. I have written to Ed- ward to see if he can get me some money before I go. I spent a good deal going to Hillsdale and am not earning now as I used to.
