Warm in the morning but gradually got colder until to night it is quite cold again - Did not rest well last night because of my sore hand which pained me some - Feel quite pleased now my verdict of yesterday - Lewis come [[see??] this morning & informed [[??]] about my sending  [[??]] with my references to the jury. He has appealed this case. Now today drawn up the papers against Bacon.
