+ buried (Jennie Hunt)  Friday Feb 12, 1875  It snowed again last night and is not quite so cold, all of us Well.  Splendid sleighing, I sent downtown and bought two Bouquets for Sheridan the Shreve to send to the funeral of Jennie Hunt.  at One O clock I went with Ada Sheridan and Shreve, to the funeral.  there were many there, and many girl from her school.  the flowers were very grand and profuse, she was beautifully dressed in white Cashmere and Satin, at five O,clock I went to Afternoon Service, then to Belle,s all her family well.  after ten Mr C Bryan Mr Farnas and Mr Britton came to see Ada  Saturday Feb 13 1875  This has been a clear sunny day my boys out with their sleigh and Pony.  Eva out visiting in my Carriage Ada gone to her French class.  George and Robby Kearney spent the day with Hunt.  after supper I went with Mr Badger Ada Sheridan and Shreve to Mrs J.C. Neilton, her children and husband gave her a surprise party.  We met at the grocery next their house and when all the company had arrived we marched into their house and sent for her to come down stairs, and she was amazed to see all of us.  and gifts were given her and we had dancing and music.  Mr Neilton had three omnibuses on runners at his door to take us home and we had a merry sleigh ride.  It was the anniversary of their 25 year [[strikeout]] of their wedding.  everything passed off well.  Sunday Feb 14, 1875  Another bright and sunny day, all of us Well.  It is very cold.  Ada and Sheridan gone to church.  Belle & her baby came up and spent the day.  Mr Kearney and the boys came after her in their Carriage.  we did not get off to night to Louisville  Monday Feb 15, 1875  Again the weather is very cold but clear and sunny. snow everywhere.  all of us Well.  Ada gone to make some calls.  Sheridan out sleighing.  Belle and Mr Kearney came up to say good bye to us as we leave in an hour for Louisville.  Miss Abby Hamilton and Miss Chappell called on us to day.  at eight Oclock we said good bye to all and got into our Carriage and went to the train.
