The sun shone so bright that [[unclear]] and I went [[unclear]] called on Mr Whitehead Miss Lyman Mrs [[unclear]] Norton Mr [[unclear]], Mrs W. [[Herfoot?]] Mr [[unclear]] Brooks Mr Ed Muller, Mr [[unclear]] & Mrs [[unclear]] Belle sent for me to see her baby she is broken out with a thick [[unclear]] me think it is the measeles but it has not made her sick yet. Mrs S. L. Muller called on us. Saturday Jun 23 1875
The sun shone so bright that Epes and I went visiting called on Mr Whitehead Miss Lyman Mrs [[strikeout]] Norton Mrs Eastman, Mrs W. Herfoot Mrs Dr Brooks Mrs Ed Muller, Mrs Carleton & Mrs Keigh  Belle sent for me to see her baby she is broken out with a thick rash we think it is the measeles but it has not made her sick yet. Mrs S. L. Walker called on us. Saturday Jan 23 1875 It has been a mild day, everyone out sleighing  all of us Well,  I went to the Dentist with Eva his name Dr. Brown, I then went to Belle, & her baby better  Dr Small says it is not measles she had, but the effect of the vaccination.  Ada gone to the Opera with Mr Frank Alport  Eva Mr Angell Mr Badger and myself all going  to Belle, to supper.  Miss Parnell called on me  Sunday Jan 24, 1875  This has been a clear cold sunny day, all of us well. I went to church with Ada & Sheridan, after church I went to see Belle her baby better, her rash was only the effect of the vaccination, it was not measles, as we thought.  Mr Badger gone to his Fathers, house.  Monday Jan 25, 1875  Today is sunny but cold, all of us well, Ada gone to see Miss Schroeder and Miss [[blank]] of Louisville  Epes gone with Mr Angell to call on a bride Mrs Miss Kegle my dress maker here to sew with me,  Ada gone to the Opera Lohengrin with Mr. George Meeker, Miss Wadsworth sent Ada invitations to a German at her house, (Palmer Hotel)  Tuesday Jan 26 1875,  Another good sunny day but cold, snow and ice every where to be seen, the Lake is frozen over a long distance and may skate on it.  Miss Kegle finished to day dressmaking for me for a while, Eva gone down town shopping, Mrs & Miss Andrews called so did the Misses Kelly.  Mr & Mrs Harny came up and dined with us, after ten Mr Britton called to see Ada,
It has been a mild day.
