My dear Sisters, | |||
We send this morning with Lewis that little bowl of jelly — mother thinks we cannot well send a larger one in that satchel. Last Saturday we made some more jelly, preserved some pumpkins and pickled some — We have not yet had those citron Mrs. Evans kindly sent us by Lewis - but they are safe at his house and we thank Mrs. E. very much for them. We will send for them soon as we seasoned the others with lemon & should like to try hard ginger with these, and if you can get us some (white and nice like what ma got once you know) | |||
