Dr speaks quite encouragingly, and what is better still, I feel so much better. I suppose it will take a good while longer but I shall try to be patient, hoping for the best. I have been here now almost six months, a long time, do you not think so?

I was not much acquainted with the ladies and having seen them since our donation, you remember they were at our house then; but still, I enjoyed the visit very much and ? ? a little more acquainted with them, which I was very glad to have the chance of doing. Miss P. and Miss S. spoke of you several times and they wished you could have been here with us; they told me to
