this morning we have order to put everything in readiness for an immediate march at two in the afternoon a muskett is accidentally discharg'd by a soldier in the 2d NH Reg't which gave a fatal wound to our paymaster who expire in a few moments one soldier also rec'd a wound in the leg by the same shott this melancholy accident is the subject of our meditation the rest of the day. | |||
