Saturday, 25. Warm day again. Finished the upper Bastion to-day. Late at night boat came with papers of [unclear] 21st inst-not much news. Permitted to release Mrs. [[Minoreg?]] Britton and Fugler which I did. First went to home to Vicksburg. Called on Mrs Grove by her request. Dont seem to know what she wants. Causes a good deal of trouble
