Saturday, September 21, 1901 This has been a perfect day. delightful and warm, after breakfast, Mrs Badger and Mrs Shreve, walked to the Dry Store, all laughed at the immense car the children thought it a great joke to see their grandma walking down street, as she always rides, they soon returned, having bought toys for the children, Misses Clair, and May Wilsons, called in their Cart and took Elbert, and Mr Bland Ballard to drive, after breakfast Mr Donevan called and sand with Miss Susane, after luncheon Mrs Shreve & Mrs A.C. Badger went and called on Mrs Mallney, all were out but the young daughter Helen, who we saw, a pretty blonde about fifteen they will shut up. their house here and go to New York in a week, at five O. clock, Mrs Wilson and Aunt Mrs [[blank]] called to see us all. we had just returned home, so saw them and liked them, to night Mr Badger Adele Ballard & Miss Susie all went to Donevan
