The boss, the employer, has a heart that expands surprisingly when he is shorthanded for whatever reason, even so as it contracts equally as much and suddenly whenever the supply of labor power fullfills the demand. Therefor I am convinced that in the event of an emergency his heart would swell and he would bid the wages high, temporarily at least, And even it does backslide and his heart shrinks to the size of a sweet-pea it doesn't mean a thing other than that the workers should there-upon chop another hour off the workday and cause the employers heart to re-swell to the proper lions it was before.
