Korostovetz and myself on either side of the latter.  Miss Corbett was next to me and then the Princess Tsai Chen.  The tiffin was long and elaborate and very good, with delicious pigeons eggs and Peking duck.  The table has a breadth of yellow silk down the centre, with flowers garlanded upon it, and three baskets made of small flowers, more ingenious than beautiful in the middle.  The service was rapid
